Today, I wanted to talk to you about my little secret garden: candles, and more specifically Milera candles.

Candles mean a lot to us; they marked the beginning of the Jideco adventure, this desire to share the experience and achievements of artisans.

So, I'm sharing with you the essence of Milera candles

My first passion is wildlife photography, but two years ago I made my first candles. I've always loved their soft light and especially their delicate scents that remind me of a place, a specific moment, a loved one. I wanted to take the plunge and explore the world of candle making.

But there you have it, while I felt proud to light my first creation, I have to admit that I was far, very far, from a successful result. And yes, candles are not as easy as you might think: there are holes, air bubbles, drafts, waxes that vary from one supplier or production batch to another, regulations, labels and packaging, wooden wicks that suffocate, their size, the temperature…so many techniques and parameters that I had to master before achieving this result.

So here it is, today I am very happy to present my brand new series with new fragrances: Green Tea and Neroli for freshness and sunshine; Amber and Oud wood for warmth and sensuality. As Baudelaire 's words remind us: "There, all is order and beauty, luxury, calm and pleasure."
