These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are valid for all orders placed on the website www.jidecohome.com operated by Jideco and govern the relationship between Jideco (hereinafter "Jideco" or "We") and the buyer (hereinafter "Customer" or "User" or "You"). A. Repair: If the product has a manufacturing defect or does not match the order, Jideco will collect the product free of charge for the customer.
B. Replacement: If repair is not possible or unsuccessful, the customer may request a product replacement, also free of charge.
C. Price reduction or termination: If, after repair and delivery, the product remains non-compliant, the consumer may request a price reduction or terminate the contract.
Jideco cannot be held responsible for defects or damages caused by improper use of the products, incorrect storage, or use not in accordance with the instructions provided.

Jideco reserves the right to contact the Customer by email to inform them of the various stages related to their order, including:
- Order Confirmation: This document summarizes the order number, shipping and billing information, the contents of the ordered items, and the total value of the purchase. It also indicates the estimated shipping time.
- Shipping Confirmation: This document provides a summary of the items shipped, as well as the tracking number and estimated delivery date. It is important to note that some items are available in our Workshop Showroom stock, and other products will only be available from our suppliers. If the Customer's order contains two different storage locations, the transport costs will be combined and charged only once.
- Quality Monitoring: Jideco attaches great importance to customer satisfaction. We wish to gather your feedback on the quality of the products and services provided, as well as on the handling of your shipment, in order to better meet your expectations. Your feedback is valuable and helps us improve our services.
- Newsletter: If the Customer consents, Jideco reserves the right to send newsletters regarding its new products, special offers, and promotions. The Customer can unsubscribe from this newsletter at any time via the unsubscribe link provided in each email.
Products: Indications, Availability and Warnings
A. Product Description
Jideco undertakes to specify that slight differences may occur concerning the shades, colors, and shapes of the products. We cannot be held responsible for potential discrepancies. The images on our site are non-contractual and are for illustrative purposes only. Variations may also appear due to differences in computer screens and brightness settings.
B. Jideco's Commitment
We make it a point of honor to test, film, and promote some of our products to show their quality and authenticity, in accordance with our values. These videos and photos, available on www.jidecohome.com as well as on our social networks, are non-contractual and remain the exclusive property of Jideco. Any use of this content is prohibited without our prior authorization.
Jideco reserves the right to modify its product offering at any time, by adding new items, modifying its categories, or suspending certain products without prior notice.
C. Product Indications
We are committed to offering products from responsible, ecological, and committed brands. All information and technical descriptions of the products are provided by our suppliers and must be consulted before validating the order.
The Customer is invited to take note of all necessary information, such as:

This information must be accessible before the order is validated, so that the Customer can cancel their purchase if necessary.
D. Product Prices
The displayed product prices do not include VAT. Jideco is not subject to VAT below CHF 100,000 in turnover. Shipping costs are borne by the Customer for purchases up to CHF 200, unless otherwise stated on the site for certain categories, such as all furniture for example.
Product prices are subject to change at any time, but the price applied will be the one in effect at the time of the order. The total cost of the order will always be communicated before its final validation.
E. Product Availability
Although Jideco makes every effort to guarantee the availability of the displayed products, the products offered on the site are subject to stock availability. If a product becomes unavailable after the order, we will inform the Customer by email and propose a solution (return or refund).
Shipping times can vary between 1 and 2 weeks depending on available stock.
If the delivery time exceeds 8 working weeks, we will offer a similar product, without increasing the price, which the Customer may accept or refuse.
We provide the following information to inform the Customer about delivery times:
- Immediate Availability: The product is available in our Showroom in Nyon, 1260 and can be collected or shipped within 48 working hours.
- Currently restocking: The product is not immediately available in our Showroom stock in Nyon, 1260 but it is available from our supplier. The shipping or collection time for goods is extended to a maximum of 4 working weeks. Given the size of our storage facility, we allow ourselves to ship furniture directly from the supplier's stock to your delivery address.
- Out of Stock Product: When products are out of stock or awaiting restock, they will be marked "Out of Stock" on the product page. Some products may be available for pre-order, and will be shipped to you once they are back in stock. We will inform you of the progress by email or phone. The shipping time will be specified once the product has been restocked.
It is important to note that some items are available in our Workshop Showroom stock, and other products will only be available from our suppliers. If the Customer's order contains two different storage locations, the transport costs will be combined and charged only once.
F. Warnings
Jideco makes it a point of honor to provide clear and detailed information on products, including usage precautions. However, it is the Customer's responsibility to follow the safety and maintenance instructions for the products.
A. Furniture Products: To ensure safety, especially in the presence of children, we advise you to carefully read the furniture instructions and ensure everyone's safety by preventing tipping and serious injury. In addition, Jideco recommends insuring the furniture against possible damage.
To preserve the furniture, we advise you to:
- Always read the user manual and the supplier's safety recommendations.
- Avoid placing heavy objects on furniture not designed for that purpose.
- Protect glass or mirrors from any scratches.
- Use appropriate natural cloths/wipes and products for cleaning.
- Check if the furniture is protected with varnish, and if not and you wish to do so, adapt the varnish to the type of wood of the furniture.
- Heavy objects should be placed at the bottom of the furniture, not at the top, to prevent tipping.
- Check the stability of the furniture according to the room.
- Check the dimensions of the furniture to ensure it fits your room.
- Do not let children play on the furniture to ensure safety.
- Be careful when installing furniture; avoid stumbling, slipping, or injuring yourself.
B. Candles & Scents We recommend observing all safety instructions relating to AFNOR and CLP regulated candles, as well as all safety indications provided for everyone's safety, to avoid reactions to products and/or risks of fires, serious injuries, for example.
To preserve your indoor candles, we advise you to:
- Carefully read the safety data sheets.
- Always trim the wick to between 0.5 and 1cm before each use.
- Light your candle for a minimum duration of 1 hour and a maximum of 3 hours.
- If you extinguish your candle before the entire surface is liquid, it risks tunneling, and you will lose hours of burning time.
- Extinguish your candle by snuffing it with a candle snuffer; do not blow on it, or do so very gently.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Burn candles out of reach of children and pets.
- Never light your candle near flammable objects.
- Always leave 7 cm between 2 lit candles.
- Use an appropriate candle holder or votive; candles liquefy as they burn down.
- Do not use liquid or alcohol to extinguish your candle.
- Your scents should be kept out of reach of children.
- Recycle content in appropriate bins.
- Be careful when installing the item; avoid stumbling, slipping, or injuring yourself.
To preserve your indoor scents and maintain a healthy home environment, we advise you to:
- Do not use these indoor fragrances too often to limit exposure to chemicals.
- Use them outside the dwelling for the first time: this is during the initial use.
- Read the product composition labels and usage precautions carefully.
- Ventilate the house for 10 minutes every morning and evening.
- More generally, limit the use of risky products at home: organic compounds are emitted by air fresheners but also by household products, paints, furniture glues... it is the accumulation that can be dangerous.
- Keep out of reach of children and animals.
- Recycle content in appropriate bins.
- Be careful when installing the item; avoid stumbling, slipping, or injuring yourself.
C. Home Decor: Jideco recommends carefully reading the instructions for decorative items and ensuring everyone's safety by avoiding serious injuries, particularly to children. Additionally, Jideco recommends insuring the item against potential damage.
To preserve your home decor items, we recommend:
- Carefully reading the supplier's technical instructions.
- Properly securing decorations, photographs, frames, mirrors, or any other items intended for walls, and not placing any additional weight on them.
- Protecting your decorative items from heat, fire, sunlight, and humidity.
- Protecting your children and/or pets from items that could be chewed, gnawed, or pose a health and safety risk to them.
- Cleaning textiles according to the indications provided by the supplier, i.e., respecting the authorized cleaning method and recommended temperature.
- Not cleaning with chemical products, but using natural products and wipes that prevent any scratches, abrasions, or dust deposits on the item.
- Always check if decorations, crockery, or ceramics can be cleaned in the dishwasher via the supplier's technical sheet.
- For your own safety and that of those around you, always turn off the electricity before installing a light fixture.
- Being careful during item installation, avoiding tripping, slipping, or getting injured.
Before each use, the Client must ensure that the assembly is adequate, that the installation is correctly done, and that the instructions have been followed for lasting use.
Jideco is not responsible for injuries or damages caused by improper installation, use, or failure to follow the above recommendations.
Purchase, Commitment, and Delivery Process
C. Client Account Creation
Jideco offers a registration platform for creating a Client Account on its website www.jidecohome.com. Registration is mandatory to place orders on this site. The Client agrees to provide complete and accurate information during registration. In case of doubt regarding the authenticity of the information provided or if the identity seems suspicious, Jideco reserves the right to delete the Client's account and cancel the order. It is imperative that the Client is of legal age and capable of entering into a contract, and that they place an order with full knowledge of the facts.
When creating their account, the Client chooses a username and password. It is recommended to use a password of at least 8 characters, including numbers and symbols. This information must remain confidential. In case of a request to block the account, Jideco can take this action at the Client's simple request. This account will allow the Client to view their order summary, shipment status, and other useful information concerning the contract concluded with Jideco. By creating an account, the Client also accepts Jideco's Data Protection Policy.
D. Order Cancellation or Modification
To cancel a confirmed order, the Client must submit a request via their client area as soon as possible, before the order is processed or shipped. They can also contact Jideco by email or via the website's contact form, specifying their identity and order reference. Any modification concerning the delivery address or any other specific request must be made as quickly as possible.

No order can be cancelled once it has been prepared or shipped, and after the shipping confirmation has been sent.

E. Order Confirmation and Receipt
Jideco recommends that the Client save or print a copy of their confirmed order. The order reference is crucial for any modification request or for efficient order management by Jideco. After order confirmation and payment, Jideco will send an email containing the order confirmation.
F. Order Invoicing
When placing the order, the total price and shipping costs will be displayed. The order must be paid in full before the products are shipped. The Client will receive the invoice by email, which will also serve as order confirmation. The invoice history is accessible in the Client Area, under the "Invoices" section of their user account.
G. Payment Methods
Jideco offers several payment methods for the order, ensuring transaction security.
Credit or Debit Card
Payment can be made immediately via a secure SSL payment gateway from our bank. In case of cancellation or return of the order, the amount will be refunded to the same card. The Client's personal and banking information is protected in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
3D Secure technology, via "Verified by VISA" or "MasterCard SecureCode", guarantees transaction security. The Client will be redirected to their bank's website for additional verification before returning to our site to finalize the payment.
Bank Transfer
Payment can be made by bank transfer to Jideco's bank account (Santander). The Client must specify their name and the order reference. If the order is not paid within 7 days, it will be automatically cancelled.
PayPal
Payment is made via PayPal, and money is only debited after order validation. A PayPal account is required to use this payment method.
KLARNA
Payment can be spread over three monthly installments, with easy access to this option during order confirmation.
TWINT
Payment can be made by Twint upon order validation.
H. Order Dispatch
The order will be delivered to the address indicated by the Customer at the time of purchase. It is recommended to check the accuracy of the delivery address before confirming the order. Jideco will send an email when the order is ready and dispatched, containing the tracking number and a summary of the dispatched products.
I. Order Delivery
The Customer must check the condition of the package and packaging before signing the delivery note. No signature should be affixed without inspecting the package and verifying that everything is in order.
J. Delivery Conditions
Deliveries are made only in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Deliveries are made against signature and are handed over at the Customer's door. Jideco recommends that Customers residing on upper floors arrange for a solution to receive their package.
The Customer has a maximum of 14 working days to report a delivery that has not taken place in order to notify the carrier of the incident.
K. Delivery Times, Prices and Methods
Jideco offers several delivery options in Switzerland and Liechtenstein, with prices in CHF. Details of options and transport prices are available on the website. All deliveries are made against signature.
Goods are shipped from our warehouse within 48 hours after your order is placed, unless otherwise indicated, which will be notified to the Customer. If the goods are available in our suppliers' warehouse, the shipping time may be extended up to 2 working weeks.
The shipping fee is CHF 7.90 for purchases up to CHF 200.
*Free delivery for purchases over CHF 200.
Returns and Withdrawal Policy
General Law for the Defense of Consumers
In accordance with current legislation, consumers and users have a right of withdrawal. This right allows them to cancel the contract within a maximum period of 14 calendar days* without having to give any reason and without incurring any costs, with the exception of those provided for in articles 107.2 and 108 of RD1/2007 of November 16, which approves the Revised Text of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users (TRLGDCU).
Conditions:
- The Customer has a period of 14 days to withdraw after receiving the product.
- The product must be returned in its original condition and in its original packaging.
- The consumer must inform the seller of their decision to withdraw (for example, via form or email).

To cancel a confirmed order, it is imperative to submit a request via your customer account before the order is processed or shipped.

Once the order has been prepared or shipped and the shipping confirmation has been sent, it will no longer be possible to cancel it.

B. Applicable Right of Refusal
Refusing delivery due to damage
If you notice visible damage to the outer packaging of the parcel upon delivery, we recommend that you refuse the goods and take a photo of the parcel. Please inform Jideco immediately of the situation. We undertake to deliver your products in perfect condition and will take charge of any product damaged during transport, even if the damage is not caused by Jideco.
If, after unpacking, you find that the product is damaged, you have the right to return the goods, with the return costs borne by us. To do this, you must inform Jideco by email, mentioning the order reference and the product concerned. A return slip will then be sent to you.
The product must be returned for a refund. Remember to indicate "subject to unpacking" on the shipping document. This mention is essential for any claim concerning a product damaged during transport.
Return of parcel due to incorrect delivery address and delays
Customer responsibility for an incorrect address
Jideco cannot be held responsible if delivery fails due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer. In this case, we reserve the right to contact you by phone or email to reschedule a new delivery.
Return after several unsuccessful attempts
If the package is returned to our premises after several unsuccessful delivery attempts, we reserve the right to restock the goods and credit the customer, subject to deducting the shipping costs incurred by Jideco, including free shipping costs at the time of purchase.
Tips to avoid delivery errors
It is recommended to carefully check the information transmitted when ordering and to modify your contact details via your customer account before the order is shipped. We also advise you to provide a reachable phone number for the carrier to facilitate delivery.
Responsibility for delivery delays
Jideco cannot be held responsible for delivery delays due to external events such as bad weather, accidents, strikes, etc.
Right of return following an incorrect part ordered by the customer
If an error was made by the customer when ordering (e.g., wrong product choice or wrong reference), it is possible to return the product, provided that:
- The product is in its original condition and in its original packaging.
- The return request is made within 14 days of receipt of the product.
In this case, the return costs are borne by the customer. Jideco recommends checking the information carefully before finalizing the order to avoid this type of error.
Right of return following a delivery error (product received by mistake)
If an incorrect or different product from the one you ordered is delivered to you, you have the right to return the product. In this case, the return costs are borne by Jideco.
To do this, you must:
- Inform Jideco by email, mentioning your order reference and the incorrect product.
- A return label will be sent to you, and you must return the product in its original packaging.
We undertake to send you the correct product as soon as possible, at no additional cost to you.
Warranty
A. Legal Guarantees

Warranty Period
Products purchased on www.jidecohome.com benefit from a 2-year legal warranty from the delivery date. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and hidden faults, as well as any other product failure occurring during this period. -
Declaration of Non-conformity
The user must inform Jideco of any non-conformity defect within 2 months from the date they became aware of it. - Scope of Warranty
- The warranty is valid from the purchase date, as indicated on the purchase invoice.
- Jideco may consider extending the warranty or offering a personalized warranty depending on specific conditions and products concerned.
B. Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover the following defects or damages:
- Consumable products (e.g., batteries, light bulbs, etc.).
- Unprofessional installation or incorrect installation of the product.
- Modifications or tampering not authorized by Jideco or by third parties.
- Misuse (e.g., use outside the conditions specified in the user manual).
- Damage due to external causes, such as a power surge, fires, accidents, or bad weather.
- Normal wear and tear or degradation related to improper handling of the product, poor storage, or incorrect use.
C. Return and Repair Procedure

Warranty Return
In case of a defect in a product covered by warranty, the customer must immediately contact Jideco customer service to request a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number. This return must be made within a reasonable time after discovery of the defect. -
Packaging and Protection
The returned product must be in its original condition and returned in its original packaging, or in sturdy, protected packaging. It is essential that the product is well protected with materials such as bubble wrap or foam to prevent any damage during transport. -
Customer Responsibility
If the product arrives damaged due to insufficient or inadequate packaging, Jideco reserves the right to refuse warranty coverage. -
Repair performed by the customer
If the customer wishes to perform the repair themselves, they must obtain prior authorization from Jideco and follow the specific instructions provided by customer service.
D. Spare Parts Warranty
For durable products, Jideco commits to providing technical service and a stock of spare parts for at least 5 years after the end of a product's production. The parts required for repair will not be subject to price increases during this period.
E. Limited Liability of Jideco

Indirect Damages
Jideco shall not be held liable for indirect or intangible damages, such as loss of profits, revenue, data, or any other damage resulting from the use of the product. -
Force Majeure
Jideco shall not be held liable for delays or failures to fulfill its obligations in cases of force majeure, such as bad weather, strikes, accidents, or any unforeseen event beyond its control. -
Independent Examination
In certain cases, Jideco reserves the right to have the returned product examined by an independent expert. If the cause of the failure is proven to be linked to misuse or a defect attributable to the customer, the customer will be responsible for the expert's fees.
